Each signal comes with everything you need to execute a trade. Here's how to read and use them correctly.
Scanner or Hunter shows LONG/SHORT on a pair. Check that both Scanner AND Hunter agree on the same pair for highest confidence.
Set your limit order anywhere inside the entry zone — not market order. Wait for price to pull back into the zone.
As soon as order fills, immediately set your Stop Loss and TP1. Never enter without SL — this protects your capital.
At TP1: close 30–50%, move SL to breakeven. At TP2: close another 30–40%. Let remainder ride to TP3.
Cancel the order. The signal has expired. Do not chase price. Wait for the next fresh signal.
Only use market order if RSI is between 52–68 (LONG) or 32–48 (SHORT) AND market state is IMBALANCE. Never market-order into OVERBOUGHT or OVERSOLD — you are entering at the worst price.
The Fabio Valentini method only trades IMBALANCE — when the market is trending with momentum. BALANCE means consolidation. Entering in BALANCE is gambling. Wait for IMBALANCE to form.
EMA9 must cross above EMA21 (LONG) or below (SHORT) before entry. If EMA9 and EMA21 are intertwined — there is no clear direction. Skip the pair entirely.
Delta positive (buy pressure) + LONG signal = strong setup. Delta negative (sell pressure) + SHORT signal = strong setup. If delta disagrees with signal direction — reduce position size by 50% or skip.
Always check the MAX LEVERAGE column before entering. High volatility = low leverage. Never exceed the suggested leverage even if your account allows it. The leverage calculator uses real ATR and volume data.
Only take LONG signals when structure shows HH+HL (uptrend). Only take SHORT when structure shows LH+LL (downtrend). If structure shows SIDEWAYS or VOLATILE — wait. These signals have higher false positive rates.

When the market is volatile, signals are often correct — but price sweeps the Stop Loss first before moving in the right direction. Here's how to use that to your advantage.
During high volatility, market makers push price to sweep stop losses before reversing. When you see a signal get "stopped out" but price immediately bounces back — that's your real entry opportunity. The signal was right, just early.
If price breaks through the SL level with a strong full-body candle (not a wick), the trend has reversed. Do NOT re-enter. Wait for the next fresh signal.
ScallopScan uses ATR to calculate Max Leverage. When ATR is high, leverage is lowered automatically. Use Max Leverage as a quick gauge — if it shows VERY LOW or DANGER, market is too volatile for normal sizing.
When market is volatile, the date-based compounding target might be harder to reach. That's okay. On high volatility days, aim for TP1 only (+0.5%) and consider it a win. Preservation of capital is more important than hitting the daily target.
